// About

A trading firm that ships its
internal tools as products.

Tribulnation Labs started as the infrastructure team of a crypto proprietary trading desk. We kept running into the same problem everyone in this industry does — exchange data that doesn't reconcile, APIs that drift without warning, asset IDs that mean five different things depending who you ask — so we built our own fixes. Eventually those fixes got good enough to be worth shipping on their own.

We trade on our own stack, every day.

Every tool we build — Typed, the SDK, the Catalogue, Litmus Ledger — runs a real book first. Nothing ships to a customer, open source or not, until it's carried our own capital through a live trading day. That's not a QA process we bolted on; it's the only reason the tools exist at all.

Boring infrastructure is a feature.

Crypto trading has enough sources of risk already. We don't think the plumbing — reconciliation, market data, order routing — should be one of them. We'd rather ship something typed, validated, and a little unglamorous than something flashy that silently drops a decimal at 3am.

Barcelona, small team.

We're a small, young team based in Barcelona. We keep the surface area of the company close to the surface area of the problems we're solving — no team we don't need, no product we won't use ourselves.
